Sam Mubiru

Program Specialist - Homelessness


 

Sam Mubiru has over 8 years of experience in adolescent public health programming and more than 10 years in IT systems. He is a skilled community programmer and IT professional, with expertise in enhancing internal control systems for both domestic and international non-governmental organizations, developing organizational capacity, and assisting with resource mobilization. He is adept at managing a variety of systems-strengthening initiatives and has specialized skills in database administration, technical documentation, network configuration and administration, and data backup and recovery.

Before joining United Way of Northern California, Sam held positions as a Resident Advisor at Shasta College, System Administrator of the Integrated Hospital Management Information System (IHMIS) at Naguru Regional Referral Hospital in Uganda, and Trainings and Partnerships Manager with Naguru Youth Health Network. He is also currently a Computer Science student at Shasta College.
