Accomplishments
To our North State community,
Many of you have been with us for years, experiencing seasons of tremendous change alongside us. You have supported our work, believing that together we can address the challenges we face head-on. These past few years haven’t been without challenges, but we are grateful to everyone who has partnered with us to make real change happen. Here are some of the amazing things you’ve helped support:
Wildfire relief, recovery, and resiliency
Pre-Disaster Preparedness
Immediate funds to evacuees
Assistance to local respondents
Post-disaster community needs assessments
Connecting displaced individuals with the RV Rental Assistance program for up to 6 months of stay
Grants to Nonprofits for wildfire relief and resiliency measures
The Stable Housing Opportunity Program (SHOP)
Mental health services for survivors
2-1-1 NorCal
Because of your donations, the 2-1-1 NorCal referral system has answered 7,183 calls in Shasta, Tehama, and Siskiyou Counties so far.
This 24-hour text, call, and web service connects community members to critical resources they need. You helped people receive assistance with basic needs, support for children, youth, and families, physical and mental health resources, employment support, elder and disabilities support, disaster relief, and so much more! We thank you for assisting us in running this incredible service.
Food Deliveries through DoorDash
With your support, our DoorDash Program continues to thrive! We have delivered over 3,315 grocery deliveries in 2022 by partnering with local food pantries and drivers.
Equity and Inclusion
Thanks to your generous support, $100,000 was granted to 16 non-profits in the North State to advance racial and social equity in 2022. Thank you for standing with our mission to promote equity in health, education, financial wellness, and disaster recovery for ALL people in Northern California!
Addressing Homelessness
Because of the generosity of our donors, we’ve been able to support innovative strategies for addressing homelessness throughout our region. In 2022, we assisted as the fiscal agent for Project Homeless Connect (PHC), a convening of local service providers working to address the needs of the unhoused population in Northern California.
You helped provide essential services such as medical, dental, optical, and hygiene services, health care enrollment assistance, behavioral health resources, housing, education, and employment resources, and so much more!
