John McClelland
Office Assistant
John spent his early years in southern California, living in Redondo Beach and the Mojave Desert, Ridgecrest area. John served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1968-1972 and moved to Redding after his service in 1974. Before coming to United Way in 2021, John worked in construction as a Concrete Finisher for 30 years, working on residential, commercial, and custom-stamped concrete jobs.
John loves working at United Way of Northern California, knowing that he plays a part in helping so many people in our community and outlying counties.
